Horizon Summer Camp is a week-long camp where adults with physical disabilities and volunteers partner for a week of recreation, learning, and fun. Located at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center in Hudson, Illinois, the camp rests on 170 rolling acres of land on beautiful Lake Bloomington.
The campsite is fully accessible, including: air-conditioned cabins, a swimming pool with ramp access, accessible shower facilities and waterfront dock, and a two story air-conditioned dining hall overlooking the lake. Participants will take part in multiple adaptive sports and activities including archery, cycling, kayaking, horseback riding, arts & crafts, skits, karaoke, zip-lining, and more in a safe and beautiful setting in nature.
